Here's the how to's for the cake: The high heel shoe is made from gum paste and then hand painted. The suitcase is a fondant covered cake, which was then hand-painted with zebra stripes. The suitcase handle and buckles are also made from fondant.

Start by creating a high heel shaped invite done in black and pink so it looks like the cake and ties it all together. You can decorate the front with black and pink glitter, sequins and/or stick-on jewels. Put all your party details on the reverse side and hand-deliver or mail your invites.

I also have a few quick ideas to help you give your home the diva touch. You'll want to be sure to hang lots of twisted streamers throughout your designated room to instantly begin to transform it into a festive party room. It would be more striking to use both colors twisted together rather than just one, but either way will start to put forth the diva-look.

Create bouquets of balloons in these colors to also help bring the party room to life. Tie off the bouquets with lots of curling ribbons for added fun at minimal cost.

Instead of hanging garland over doorways and around windows, you could hang feather boas. Then when the party is over you can give each girl one of the feather boas to take home as a party favor.

Cover the cake table with a white linen tablecloth and then make a zebra striped table runner to go on top. In the alternative, you could turn your entire tabletop into a "zebra." Start with a white piece of fabric that will cover your table and hang down a bit and then cut out pieces of black felt or fabric to create the zebra stripes. You can lay them down on top of the table, glue them on, or go all out and sew them to the white fabric. Opting for gluing or sewing will allow you the opportunity to carry your stripes from the top, down the sides of the cloth.

Use black and pink plates, cups, napkins, and plastic ware, and then sprinkle confetti on the table. If you're able to find black and/or pink high heel confetti, all the better. If not, then opt for traditional confetti in these colors.

Another fun idea would be to make some big floor pillows for everyone to sit on that are made out of zebra print fabric. These too could be given out to the girls as a party favor.

Reply: Great Ideas, But I Gotta Add My Two Bits

What a fabulous high heel cake; it's so creative! Any girl that loves high heels will think this incredible cake is really cool. It's a great choice for a Fashionista or Diva themed party. I also love her color choices of black and pink; they're perfect party colors for either of these types of parties. She certainly had some wonderful party ideas that any teen girl is sure to enjoy.

If you need some teen party ideas for games and activities to go along with a Diva or Fashionista themed party, consider having a high heel relay race. All you have to do is have your guests do standard relay races, but have them do the races while wearing high heels. It’s sure to bring lots of laughs.

Another great activity for this type of a party is to do manicures and pedicures. Buy plenty of nail polish, nail polish remover, cotton balls, nail jewels, and any other items needed for manicures and pedicures. All the girls can take turns giving each other a beauty treatment.

For the party food, have some high heel shaped cookies to go along with the high heel cake. Serve some delicate tea sandwiches, tasty hors d’oeuvres and a yummy punch.

Send girls home with bags full of mini nail polish, lip gloss, mini mirror for a purse, and similar items.
