This princess castle cake was made using a castle cake kit, which comes with the towers and characters. The cake itself is fondant covered, then hand painted and the details were piped out with icing.
Reply: Great Ideas, But I Gotta Add My Two Bits
If you want to make your own princess castle cake, you too may want to try using a castle cake kit as well. It certainly makes it a lot easier to create a lovely, castle-shaped cake without investing a huge amount of time and frustration in trying to recreate this type of cake from scratch. Obviously, these kits offer beautiful results that will make your daughter’s princess party extra special.Princess Party Decor
Along with a great princess castle cake, you’ll also want to decorate your party area using fun princess party ideas. Make the area feel like a princess’ room or castle. Start by stringing up plenty of mini white lights around the party area. Draping tulle around the walls will not only instantly transform the room, but also make the toddlers feel like they’ve just walked into a special princess place reserved only for royalty.Princess Attire
Create pink sashes for each girl at the party to wear that says “Princess” on them. You can even add the child’s name if you have the time. It’s also nice to have toy tiaras for each of your little guests to wear at the party. This way they will not only look like a princess, but they will actually feel like one too.Princess Pinata
A lovely princess themed piñata can also add to the décor that you have selected for your party until it's time to crack that pup open! Since you are having young guests, you will probably want to go with a pull string piñata to make it easy for them to ultimately access the goodies.Table Decor
On the food tables, add some glitter confetti and some pretty flower petals. You can also add vases of flowers to the tables to help set the princess mood.Princess Party Favors
Of course, you’ll need some fun princess party ideas for favors as well. It’s always nice to send the little princesses home with something special after the party. Body glitter and mini lip glosses make wonderful favor ideas. Costume jewelry would also be a most welcomed favor. Bubble necklaces are tons of fun and any little girl would love a tiara to take home. Other fun favor ideas include princess themed coloring books, boxes of candy, or even cute princess cupcakes to be eaten later.
