Pink Hello Kitty 1st Birthday Party!
Pink and white was my colors. I had a custom Hello Kitty cake made - one for the guests and one for the baby. We had red velvet cupcakes decorated with Hello Kitty rings. The favor cookies were shaped in the number one with pink sprinkles, placed in a clear cello bag and tied off with a pink ribbon. For decorations I had pink and white tissue flowers all over the room and had some hanging from the chandelier.Hello Kitty Cakes
These Hello Kitty cakes look fantastic. While Erin had her cakes custom made, you can also try making your own cake for the party with great results. Making Hello Kitty cakes could be as easy as starting with a round cake pan for the face and taking off a bit of the cake to give the head an oval shape. The cake scraps can be used to make the bow and ears. It’s an easy way to create a beautiful cake. You can even use black licorice whips to make the whiskers and jellybeans to make the nose and mouth.Hello Kitty Party Favors
Erin’s favor cookies look delicious as well and they gave me some wonderful Hello Kitty birthday party ideas for favors. Theme cookies are always a wonderful idea aside from using a number to correspond with the age of the birthday girl. You could also use Hello Kitty shaped cookies or any cookies decorated in pink or white. Cupcakes also make a great favor idea to send home with guests. For young guests that like to color, crayons and a Hello Kitty coloring book is a simple, fun favor idea that the kids are sure to enjoy.Hello Kitty Birthday Party Ideas For Decorations
When it comes to decorating for this party, pink and white will probably be the main colors and it’ll certainly be easy to use these colors to decorate your party area. One of the simplest and cost effective Hello Kitty birthday party ideas is to twist together streamers in white and pink, using them to decorate tables or to decorate around doorways at the party venue. Choose white tablecloths, even if you use paper ones, and use pink accents. Add pink confetti to the tabletops, have some Hello Kitty posters and banners to hang on the walls and/or doors, and you may even want to add some pink and white flowers which are sure to add to the décor.
