Coolest Penguin Cake
The iceberg is made from brownies and then covered in white chocolate. The penguins are store bought. The iceberg is sitting in blue Jell-O to simulate the water.
Reply: Great Ideas, But I Gotta Add My Two Bits
Wow. This 1st birthday cake is so innovative and cute. Young guests at a first birthday party are sure to find this cake to be a delicious treat. With a little work and imagination, you could recreate this cake for your own birthday party.
The iceberg and penguins got the wheels in my brain turning and made several great 1st birthday party ideas pop into my head. First, you could use the colors of the penguins to help you decide on the colors you use for decorations. You could use black, white and small touches of yellow for the party. These are easy colors to decorate with and it should be easy for you to find decorations in these colors, such as streamers, balloons and paper goods. Continue the penguin theme by placing stuffed penguins around the party room if you have them. Another option would be to buy some small penguins, use them as décor during the party, and then hand them out to your little guests at the end as one of their favors.PIN THE TAIL ON THE PENGUIN
If you need some 1st birthday party ideas for games that will compliment this cake and a penguin theme, consider playing pin the tail on the penguin. It’s just like pin the tail on the donkey, except you use a penguin. Buy a large poster of a penguin or draw your own if you happen to be gifted in that area. Have plenty of small tails so each child can have their turn trying to pin the tail on the penguin.PENGUIN MOVIE
Another idea is to allow the kids to watch a penguin themed movie to keep them entertained and perhaps calm them down a bit after a lot of activity. A few great movies to consider include “Happy Feet,” “March of the Penguins,” and “Mr. Popper’s Penguins.”PENGUIN COLORING PAGES
You can also find some coloring pages that feature penguins and allow your little guests to color their penguins or at least scribble on the penguin mugs. It may be surprising to see what brilliant colors they choose to color those penguins. Let them take their coloring pages home. No doubt, their parents will enjoy displaying their new artwork on the fridge.Feel Free To Comment & Add Your Two Bits
