Invite all of your child's friends to join you in Mickey's Clubhouse to celebrate your youngster's birthday. Turn them all into Mouseketeers, plan some fun activities, decorate accordingly, serve up some Mouse Munchies, and you will surely create one great mouse-riffic party!

MICKEY MOUSE EARS PARTY INVITATIONS – You can purchase Mickey Mouse ears that come as headbands or ears that come with a hat. Either option works fine for these invitations. Purchase enough Mickey Mouse ears so you have a set for all of your guests. On pieces of cardstock, write “Mickey Mouse wants you to attend a very special birthday party.” Then, add the party details to your pieces of cardstock as well. Attach the card to the Mickey Mouse ears using some ribbon and then deliver these fun invitations by hand. Let your young guests know that they should wear their Mickey Mouse ears to the party as their “ticket” to get in.

MICKEY MOUSE COOKIE INVITATIONS – Another fun invitation idea for a Mickey Mouse birthday party is to make your own Mickey Mouse cookie invitations. For this idea, you will need some Mickey Mouse cookie cutters. You could also do some Minnie Mouse cookies as well if you want. Whip up a batch of cutout cookie dough using your favorite recipe. Cut out the dough using the cookie cutters and bake the cookies. Decorate the cookies to look like Mickey Mouse (or Minnie Mouse if you’re using Minnie cutouts too). After the icing sets, wrap the cookies in some pretty colored cellophane. Tie off with a ribbon. Place party info on small cards and attach to the cookies. Place in small boxes and send to guests. They’ll love these edible invites.

Mickey Mouse Theme Party Invitations

MICKEY MOUSE COLORING PAGE INVITATIONS – If you head to the Disney website, you will find plenty of Mickey Mouse themed coloring pages. Print out some of these coloring pages for your guests. Use them as invitations. Leave the pages for guests to color in. Just write out your party information on the back of these coloring pages. Then, place the pages in envelopes and mail to guests. The toddlers will enjoy the chance to color some Mickey coloring pages before the party.

MICKEY MOUSE BALLOON INVITATIONS - Create your invitation on some decorative Mickey themed scrapbook paper and laminate it for stability. Then attach it to a blown up balloon that has a Mickey Mouse print and hand-deliver your balloon invites.

Mickey Mouse Theme Party Invitations

MICKEY MOUSE HEAD INVITATIONS #1 - Draw a Mickey Mouse head on black card stock. Trace a plate for the head and a glass for the 2 ears. Fold the large circle in half and write on the outside using a gel pen: "Meeska, Mooska, Mickey Mouse". On inside write: "Join us in Mickey's Clubhouse as we celebrate (name's) birthday!" Then insert date, time, location of party, RSVP and phone number.

MICKEY MOUSE HEAD INVITATIONS #2 - Draw a Mickey Mouse head on black card stock. Trace a plate for the head and a glass for the 2 ears. Fold the large circle in half and write on the outside using a gel pen: "Meeska, Mooska, Mickey Mouse".

On inside write: "Mickey and the gang are having a birthday party.
(Name) is turning (age) and we want to celebrate with you!
Join us in Mickey's Clubhouse as we celebrate (name's) birthday!"
Date and time:
R.S.V.P. To (Name & Phone #)

You can either opt to request that your guests come dressed in Mickey Mouse costumes, Mickey Mouse T-Shirts, or transform them into a little Mickey Mouse by adding Mickey Mouse ears, and a black fabric or felt tail that is attached to their waistbands. You'll also want to be sure to paint their face with a black nose, white checks, and black whiskers.

Create a Mickey Mouse Clubhouse atmosphere in your home by decorating in colors of red, blue, yellow, and black and incorporate any of these Mickey Mouse birthday party decorating ideas that follow:

Mickey Mouse Birthday Party Ideas For Decorations

  • One fun decoration idea is to make cool Mickey Mouse tracks that lead up to the party entrance. Mickey has always been known for his big, black feet. So, use some black paper and cut out Mickey’s footprints. Attach to the sidewalk and make a path for guests to follow to the door. You could also do this with some sidewalk chalk.

  • Purchase a big Mickey Mouse cardboard standup or a life-size Mickey air walker balloon for the party. Place it at the entrance of the party. Upon arrival your young guests will enjoy being greeted by Mickey Mouse. You can then take a photo of each one of your guests with Mickey so you can include it with the thank you notes. You can move Mickey inside once all your guests arrive at the Mickey Mouse birthday party.

  • Print out pictures of Mickey Mouse from the Disney website. Color the pictures before the party. Laminate the pictures with some contact paper. Then, place them at each place setting so kids can use them as placemats during the party. You can even let the kids take their Mickey Mouse placemats home at the end of the party as a cool, budget-friendly party favor.

  • Instead of using streamers, cut out black Mickey Mouse ears from construction paper. Attach them to each other, making Mickey Mouse ear streamers that you can hang from the ceiling all around the party area.

  • Red and yellow are favorite Mickey Mouse colors. Behind the main food table, make a backdrop for the table by alternating red and yellow streamers. Hang them from the ceiling and allow them to hang down all the way to the ground for a cool backdrop.

Mickey Mouse Party Ideas For Decorations

  • Decorate room with Mickey Mouse and various Disney character toys and stuffed animals. Attach balloons or put party hats on animals.

  • Cover your party tables with disposable tablecloths and tie corners with curling ribbons.

  • Use party colors or Mickey Mouse print when selecting plates, cups, napkins, and utensils.

  • Give everyone Mickey Mouse ears.

  • Enlarge pictures of Mickey Mouse, laminate pages, and use them as placemats and favors for your guests to take home.

Mickey Mouse Party Ideas For Decorations

  • Create a Mickey centerpiece for your tables. Start by placing a stuffed Mickey toy into a basket lined with a napkin and filled with colorful shred. Add some curling ribbon accents, a helium balloon bouquet, along with some Mickey-themed picks. You could create ear, hand or star shapes out of cardstock and attach to skinny wooden dowels.

  • Transform your party room wall into Mickey's Clubhouse with a Mickey Mouse backdrop. Once the party has concluded and you have recovered, you can move the backdrop into your child's bedroom and hang it on a wall. It will not only brighten the room, but will serve as a nice reminder of a fun party.

  • Add Mickey Mouse birthday party banner on wall.

  • Use posters and/or enlarge pictures of Mickey Mouse and other Disney characters and hang on walls.

Mickey Mouse Party Ideas For Decorations

  • Attach a mini Mickey Mouse banner to your child's highchair and/or a helium balloon. You can also attach a balloon to all your other little guests' chairs.

  • Cut a large Mickey head out of black poster board and mount it near your entrance.

  • Make a sign that says, "Meeska, Mooska, Mickey Mouse" and hang on wall.

  • Toddlers love to crawl around and explore so why not capitalize on their curiosity and make a fun Mickey Mouse clubhouse out of appliance boxes. Cut some holes for windows and doors. Paint and decorate outside of boxes. In the alternative, paint the box white and let the kids decorate it with big, colorful markers.

MICKEY MOUSE SANDWICHES - Swiss cheese sandwiches into shape of Mickey Mouse with cookie cutters.

Mickey Mouse Party Ideas For Food

CHEESE & CRACKERS - Various slices or cubes of cheese and crackers.

MICKEY MOUSE WAFFLES OR PANCAKES - Use Vitantonio's Mickey Waffler from the Walt Disney Company to pour out Mickey Mouse head-shaped waffles. If you opt for pancakes, pour a circle of batter into skillet to create the face. Then add 2 circles of batter that overlap the face to create the ears.

RAINBOW FRUIT KABOBS - Slices of banana, kiwi, peach, watermelon (no seeds), cantaloupe, pineapple, and strawberries.

FRESH FRUIT & DIP - Cut-up strawberries, pineapple, cantaloupe, honey dew melon, and apples. Beat together 7-oz. jar of marshmallow cream and 8 oz. package of cream cheese.

Mickey Mouse Party Ideas For Food

CHEESY POTATOES - Bake 6 potatoes until almost done. Cut in half and hollow out. Add 1 cup sour cream, 1 1/2 cups grated Velveeta cheese, 1/2 stick butter, salt and pepper. Mix well with electric mixer. Stuff mixture back into potatoes and wrap in foil. Bake at 350 degrees for 20-25 minutes or until top is brown.

MACARONI & CHEESE - I have yet to meet a toddler who doesn't enjoy mac & cheese, so this would be a great and easy food choice for you to create. Either start early enough and make it from scratch or go the easy route and use one of the boxed versions.

CHEESE QUESADILLAS - Place flour tortilla on plate, fill with Mexican blend of cheese, and top with another tortilla. Microwave about 1 minute to melt cheese. Cut into pie-shaped pieces. Serve with sour cream, guacamole, and salsa. In the alternative, use Santa Fe's Quesadilla Maker, which seals the 2 shells together and seals the individual pie pieces together.

DAISY CRACKERS & FRUIT - Spread Garden Vegetable cream cheese on round crackers. Cut green or red seedless grapes in half and place them around the crackers. Put a blueberry in the center of the cream cheese.

Use some of the following Mickey Mouse birthday party cake ideas to create a Mickey-rrific birthday cake!

Mickey Mouse Theme Party Cakes

MICKEY MOUSE HEAD CAKE #1 - Bake 1 round 9" cake for head and 2 round 6" cakes for ears. Trim small arc-shape off ear cakes so they fit against head. Use picture of Mickey as a guide. Cover face with white or cream frosting. Cover ears with chocolate frosting or blacking icing. Pipe in facial features with appropriate colored frosting.

MICKEY MOUSE HEAD CAKE #2 - To make this cake, you will need one round cake as well as two cupcakes. The big cake will be Mickey’s head and the two cupcakes will be used to make Mickey’s ears. Ice the cupcakes black and the very top of the head black. Then, use icing to create the eyes, nose and smile on Mickey’s Face. The cake will look adorable and is sure to taste great too.

MOUSE EAR CUPCAKES – Make some Mickey Mouse ear cupcakes for your Mickey Mouse birthday party. Start by baking cupcakes in any flavor, putting them in red cupcake papers. Then, when the cupcakes have cooled, ice them all with some white frosting. You’ll need a bag or two of Oreo cookies too. Take two Oreo cookies, sticking them down into the cupcake icing to make Mickey’s ears. These cute cupcakes are sure to be a big hit.

MICKEY & FRIENDS CAKE - If you're a little pressed for time then you could start by purchasing a round cake and then all you need to do is to decorate the sides with colorful sprinkles or dots, and then add a cute little Mickey & friends cake topper.

MICKEY MOUSE SHEET CAKE #1 - Bake white sheet cake and frost white. Decorate sides with multi-colored sprinkles. Decorate with plastic Mickey Mouse toppers.

MICKEY MOUSE SHEET CAKE #2 - Another fast cake option would be to buy a rectangular cake that is already frosted white. Then all you need to do is add a Mickey Mouse edible sugar art image to it which will give it a great finished and professional look instantly. You can also curl a few curling ribbons in the Mickey colors and decorate the perimeter of the cake at the cake plate level.

MICKEY PHOTO CAKE - One of my favorite cake options is to have a bakery impose a picture onto the cake itself. In this case, you would probably like to use a picture of your youngster either dressed as Mickey, wearing Mickey ears, and/or holding a stuffed Mickey toy. This will pull the theme right into the cake, while keeping it personal.

MICKEY CAKE - Get yourself one of those Mickey Mouse shaped cake pans, whip up your favorite cake recipe or use one of the boxed options, and then just follow the pan's decorating instructions. Just be sure to allow yourself enough time to do the decorating as it will take a bit of time to pipe it all out.

Don't let guests leave your Mickey Mouse birthday party without Mickey-related favors. Opt for the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Party Favor Box, which includes a Mickey Mouse Clubhouse mix-up activity, stickers, blowout, activity book, and jumbo crayons.

Include items like cheese & crackers, Mickey sunglasses, Minnie hair clips, Play-Doh, bubbles, Disney Pez dispensers, Mickey Mouse balloons, stickers, fruit snacks, or pencils.
