When individuals celebrate Mardi Gras, they typically dress up and wear various types of masks, a wide variety of costumes, and engage in activities such as colorful parades, dancing, and overturning various types of social conventions. It is common to see masquerade costumes, jester costumes, Harlequin Queen costumes, Marie Antoinette costumes, king costumes, peacock costumes, and individuals dressed in a morphsuit, or as a carnival clown.
