Luau Party Games
Pin the Hula Skirt on the Dancer
I drew a Hawaiian girl on poster board, colored her and cut it out. I then drew a hula skirt on a separate piece of poster board and cut it out. I added Velcro all over the hula girl and the skirt so that it would stick wherever the person stuck it to. It was a fun game to play and helped to save some extra money.
I also did the same thing for my niece's baby shower but it was Pin the Tail on Eeyore.
This game is just perfect for a luau party. Add this too your list of luau party games. Do you need some more luau party ideas? I have a few you may want to use.LUAU PHOTO BOOTH
Consider having a luau photo booth available for your guests. Have leis, grass skirts and other fun accessories for guests to wear during the party. Set up a nice luau background where guests can post and take pictures. Let guests get group pictures or individual photos. Print them out so they can have something cool to take home after the party. You can even hand out luau inspired picture frames as favors so guests have a frame to put their picture in when they leave.LUAU PARTY DECORATIONS
Another of the fun luau party ideas is to go crazy with colors. Mix together various tropical hues to give off that island vibe at your party venue. Fabric leis can be used to decorate chairs and tables. Colorful lanterns and garlands are perfect additions for decorating the party area. You can even put out vases of fresh cut flowers on the tables; orchids or hibiscus would certainly add to the theme. Vibrant party paper goods will also add to your theme as well.TIKI BAR
Setting up your own Tiki bar is one of the fun luau party ideas that the kids are sure to love. Have someone behind the Tiki bar to serve your guests Hawaiian-style drinks. Be sure to use colorful glasses and fill them up with delicious punches and other beverages, and serve the drinks with wood skewers of fresh fruit and paper umbrellas to make the kids feel like they’ve really arrived at the islands.
