This was for a Hawaiian Birthday party.... My first attempt to make something 3D. Everything on and around the cake is 100% edible. The sand is Brown sugar. The 3D items are sculpted from Rice Krispie treats and then I covered it in homemade Marshmallow Fondant. The cake itself is a checker board cake ...I put in the freezer then carved to look like the Island of O'ahu.
