Home Spa Party Ideas

My daughter recently had a spa party and here are some of the spa party ideas that we did that helped make it great fun!
We used lots of pastel-colored balloons and streamers to decorate the party space. I made a table centerpiece by filling a basket with spa goodies. I also used pastel colored spa masks as party favors for the girls and as a table decoration by placing one at each table setting at the table. We filled the room with lots of strands of mini white lights instead of using big lightbulbs. We threw a bunch of pillows and blankets on the floor for the girls to sit on and watch movies.
Some of the spa activities the girls did were to braid each other's hair, paint one another's toenails and fingernails, apply facial masks, soak their feet in scented salts, and apply make-up.
We served lots of dainty, munchie type of foods. We cut-up a bunch of fruit and put it on a platter with toothpicks for ease of picking up pieces. We also made sandwiches and cut them into fourths. Lastly, there were mini muffins, mini cupcakes, nuts, pretzel sticks, vegies and dip.
We gave each girl a spa favor bag which contained a mini bottle of scented lotion, body glitter, bottle of nail polish, nail file, spa mask, Chap Stick, and bath salts.
