Pink Never Looked So Good!
The cake is fondant covered then hand painted. The wine glass is store bought.
This cake would be perfect for your up and coming fashionista who's having a birthday party. For the party colors, take a clue from the cake and go with pink and black.
Create some fashionista placemats by gluing clothing pictures from In Style, Vogue, etc. onto pieces of poster board.
Have guests create their own fashionista t-shirts by painting designs on the shirt using fabric paints.
Decorate with lots of streamers and balloons--excessive amounts is better as any fashionista knows.
Favor ideas might be a purse-size mirror, lip gloss of course, mints, and a bottle of water that has a cute label on it to go with the party theme.Reply: Great Ideas, But I Gotta Add My Two Bits
I love the creativity behind this incredible fashionista cake. Any teen girl would adore having this cake at her party. More than likely, you won’t be inviting guys, but the girls are sure to love having a fashionista party.FASHIONISTA PARTY DECORATION IDEAS
If you need some more teen party ideas to help you throw the perfect party, this cake brought to mind a few options that you might want to consider using.
Decorate the party area with pink, black and white to go along with the colors of the fashionista cake. To start with, get fabrics in these colors and cut them into strips that are about an 1"-1 1/2" wide and 6"-8" long. Start tying them to a wire wreath; make sure they're squished together really good, so your wire doesn't show and your wreath has a full shabby fabric look to it when completed.
Another fabric option you can do is to create garland by cutting 1 1/2" to 2" strips of fabric that are 15" to 18" long. Then tie them to a piece of decorative twine. Once again, be sure to squish them together
so the majority of the twine doesn't show. Then you can use these garlands to decorate around the perimeter of the room, doorways, window frames, fireplace mantel, etc.
Mae-Lan’s idea for placemats is wonderful. To add a little more touch of "elegance" to your placemats, you could laminate them. This way if anyone wants to take theirs home and reuse them, this option makes it possible, as they will wipe clean after every use. For the party ware, be sure to use some pretty plates and plastic wine glasses to add to the upscale party feel.
If you have a large wall that is crying out for a fashionista makeover, you might want to hang large feather boas down the wall. You can use various shades of pink or alternate them with black. This will make for a striking backdrop for your cake table.TURN YOUR GUESTS INTO FASHIONISTAS
Of course you'll want to allow some time for the girls do makeovers. Be sure to have plenty of makeup on hand so they can do each other’s makeup. Also have hair accessories available so they can enjoy doing one another’s hair as well. Be sure to tell your guests to bring their party best in terms of fancy dresses and shoes.
Of course you'll want to create a photo area so all your snazzy fashionistas can have their pictures snapped. After all the girls have makeovers, have individual photos once the makeovers have taken place. You'll probably also want some group photos so you can preserve all the beauty and splendor they create.TAKE TIME TO "CRAFT" A FASHIONISTA FAVOR
For another related activity, start with plain photo frames and let the girls bedazzle them with paints, stick-on jewels, charms, feather boa feathers, buttons, sequins, glitter, etc. Then everyone will have a frame to put their favorite fashionista party picture into as one of their favors.Feel Free To Comment & Add Your Two Bits
