Coolest Fire Truck Cake

Realistic Looking Fire Truck Cake
My son loves fire trucks, so I wanted to make him a birthday cake for his 3rd Birthday that had that theme. This was my first cake that I did with fondant. I made marshmallow fondant which I think tastes better than regular fondant. I colored the fondant with red and black, but I couldn't find silver icing, so I airbrushed parts of it silver. The wheels are made out of sponge cake. You can buy them in the grocery store (little strawberry shortcake dessert cups). In addition, I covered them with black fondant. The ladder is made from bread sticks and I also covered it with black fondant. I put some blinking lights on the cake which I got online. My son loved the cake and also the blinking lights. He thought it was a toy and that he could play with it :-))).
Katrina did a fabulous job on this fire truck cake! It is sure to please any little boy that loves fire trucks. This stunning cake actually got me thinking of some fun ideas that you can use at your own fireman birthday party to make sure everyone has tons of fun.Decoration Ideas For Fireman Birthday Party
For your decorations, you can take some cues from the actual colors of a fire truck. Use a color palette of red, black and white. You should have no problem being able to use these colors throughout your party area. Use balloons and streamers in these colors and look for some fireman party banners you can hang up to add to the festivity. You may even be able to find a fire truck piñata to use at the party, which the kids are sure to love.
Teaching kids about fire safety is always important, so why not have an actual fireman come to the fireman birthday party to give the kids a few fire safety tips in a fun way. Kids will love seeing a real fireman in his fire coat and hat and they are sure to be intrigued by what a fireman has to say.Ideas For Fireman Birthday Party Favors
