Caution Construction Zone!

My son is really into construction vehicles so for his 3rd birthday we had a "Construction" birthday party. I started with a rectangular 9x13 cake, put it on a cake board, and frosted with white icing. I piped the edges in green and sprinkled green shiny confetti to look like grass. I purchased a plastic earth mover that my son could use in the sandbox and filled the shovel with broken pieces of oreos. Last, I purchased candles which were shaped like construction zone cones. It was super-easy and a hit!
