BOB THE BUILDER BIRTHDAY PARTY DECORATIONS

Lay a great foundation for your Bob the Builder birthday party using some of the following ideas:

  • Put a construction zone yard sign in your front yard to alert guests of your party's location.

  • Place orange consturction cones or colorful construction cones along your walkway.

  • Line your walkway with some fun construction caution party tape.

  • Make some construction yard signs out of yellow poster board, attach to stake, and insert in ground. They can read: "CAUTION! BIRTHDAY AHEAD", "CAUTION! WORK ZONE. KIDS AT PLAY", "RESTRICTED! BIRTHDAY WORKERS ONLY." In the alternative, you could buy some construction party signs that will look like the real deal.

  • Create a "canopy" at your entryway by loosely attaching orange, yellow, and/or blue streamers to center of the ceiling and at the tops of the two walls while making loops which create canopy effect. Allow each streamer to go to floor.

  • Decorate ceilings with twisted streamers and clusters of balloons with curling ribbons in orange, yellow and/or blue.

  • Decorate your archways and/or doorways using the Construction Caution Tape for your guests to pass through when going from room to room.

  • Tie blue, yellow, and orange helium balloons to your guests' chairs. Tie Bob the Builder mylar balloons to the birthday child's chair.

  • Cover tables with blue, yellow, orange, or Bob the Builder tablecloth and tie corners with caution tape.

  • Scatter brown sugar and beans on tabletop to serve as dirt and rocks. Create centerpiece with small Bob the Builder toys, trucks, bulldozers, and tractors.

  • Create traffic signs for walls. "Children at Work", "Yield", "Caution", "Construction Zone", "Work Zone", "Hazard", "Danger", "Hard Hat Area", "No Admittance", etc.

  • Decorate walls and front door with oversized tools, Bob the Builder posters, and blueprints.

  • Use clean, unused paint cans to hold snack foods.

  • Add traffic lights to create construction zone atmosphere.

  • Post "Keep Out" signs anywhere you don't want people to go into.

  • Add a personalized Bob the Builder Birthday Banner on your wall for your birthday foreman.

  • To make extra-special memory, put "Big Digger" bulldozer in yard. It will be the neon light that tells everyone where the party is. Also, each child can climb aboard and have a picture taken, to be sent with thank you's!

  • Put red, yellow, and blue latex balloons outside to alert guests of party location. Attach to mailbox, hang from tree, or tie to car antenna.
