For example, the age of the party guests, if the facility is conveniently located or will you be transporting all of the guests to the party's location. Of course, you have to come up with a theme and be sure the facility will compliment that theme. Be sure to ultimately get everything in writing. Clean-Up - Do they clean up the room or are you required to do so in order to get your deposit back. Entertainment - Do they provide any entertainment or will they allow you to bring in outside entertainment such as a DJ, magician, clown, musician, caterer, etc. If they do allow you to bring in your own verses using their personnel, is there an extra charge. Food - Do they provide food, are there several menu options, do they serve the food, or are you allowed to bring in your own food. Parking - Is there ample parking? Do they charge for parking or will they give you parking permits or validation for your guests. If they don't provide on-site parking, is there ample parking nearby. Party Room - Is the party room sufficient in size to accommodate your guests and planned activities? Be sure to visualize what you plan on doing. For example, table and chair set-up, dance floor, game area, etc. If you need additional space, is it available and is there an extra charge. Party Set-Up - How much time will you have to set-up the party room, if they do not do it for you. In essence, how soon before the party may you have access to the room. If you need help, will the facility provide anyone to assist you. Party Supplies - Do they provide birthday party supplies and decorate the party room? If so, is there an extra charge for this service or is it included in their birthday party package price. Or do they just provide you with a room that you decorate accordingly. Restrooms - Be sure to check them out. They alone will tell you a story. Be sure they are clean and maintained. Are they located in close proximity to the party room, or perhaps they have some designated just for the party room rental. Also, depending on the activity and facility, outside restrooms might be an option they provide. If so, you definitely want to take a close gander at these.
